What? Jim Irsay#039;s on Line 1? Take a message! (Getty Images)
Were still not 100 percent sure why Robert Griffin III turned down an opportunity to work out for the Indianapolis Colts (and its really not a big deal), but heres one thing we do know — the man who will either go first or second in this months NFL Draft is a major, major fan of Baylor basketball. RGIII was often seen in the crowd as the Baylor mens team drove to the Elite 8, and he was repping it hard as the Lady Bears finished a perfect 40-0 season with a decisive 80-61 win over Notre Dame in the NCAA Womens final.
Not a bad year for Baylor athletics. (@RobertGriffin_3)

Regime Change in Syria: We Should Learn the Lessons of Iraq
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it — George Santayana
Recently, US Senators McCain (R-AZ), Lieberman (I-CT) and Graham (R-SC), together with various pundits, criticized President Obamas commitment to exhausting all diplomatic and political options in Syria before considering military options (for example, arming rebels, providing safe havens, direct US military support). Obamas critics cite our success in Libya as a model for intervening in Syria. However, Iraq — rather than Libya — is the better analogy.
The US has less of a strategic interest in Syria than in Libya. Syria isnt a major oil exporter, unlike Libya (site of one of the worlds...

Hospitals and Health Care Facilities Counteract the High Cost of Low Morale
Low morale is becoming an increasingly costly and risky proposition for hospital and health care administrators across the US. The Gallup Organization estimates that actively disengaged workers cost the economy $350 billion per year in lost productivity, including absenteeism, illness and other related problems. The health care industry offers an even bleaker picture, with some hospitals experiencing an exodus of employees, due to plunging morale rates. Employee Development Systems, Inc. provides employee development programs that improve productivity, increase effectiveness and instill a positive sense of responsibility in employees. These programs counteract the losses experienced by health...
Concerns on Greens’ correspondence with rights body
The ACT opposition says a formal investigation may be required into potential collusion between the Greens and the Human Rights Commission after hundreds of pages of correspondence between the minor party and the commission were made public.
But the Greens, Children and Young People Commissioner Alasdair Roy and Health Services Commissioner Mary Durkin say they have nothing to be embarrassed about in correspondence released to The Canberra Times under the Freedom of Information Act.
The documents, which span a period from 2008 until January this year, show that the Greens sought advice from the commission on questions to ask during parliamentary hearings and invited Mr Roy to publicly...
Health care reform passes in Vt
MONTPELIER, Vt. -
A happy exchange over the health care exchange– lawmakers shook hands in congratulations Wednesday, as they passed one of the most controversial bills of the session out of conference committee.
Everyone at this table signed the conference committee report and supports the bill going forward, everyone at this table and a majority of members of the House and Senate support the creation of the exchange, said Rep. Mike Fisher, D-Lincoln.
The health care exchange abides by the federal Affordable Care Act and puts in place a marketplace for health insurance. The difference between the federal law and Vermont law– Vermont will mandate it. So small...
